American Watercolor Masterpieces
When I attended Sotheby's Institute of Art, we studied Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent extensively. These two artists made me fall in love with watercolors. I am so excited to visit the American Watercolor in the Age of Home and Sargent
Exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in April. The exhibition highlights the rise of the watercolor movement in America in the 19th century.
Many rare watercolor masterpieces are on exhibit until May 14th. Now that spring is upon us, plan your day trip to Philadelphia. @philamuseum #Americanwatercolor
I have attached two videos: The first is an exhibition preview and the second is a conversation about the exhibition with one of the American Watercolor
creators, Laurie Olin.
